Monica C. Keena (born on May 28, 1979) is an American actress, best known for her role as Abby Morgan in the teen drama series "Dawson's Creek" and as Rachel Lindquist in the short-lived comedy project "Undeclared".

Early Life and Education

Monica was born in New Jersey to her mother Mary, a nurse, and her father William Keena, a sales specialist. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York, alongside her older sister Samantha. As a child, Monica attended St. Ann's School, a progressive private institution in Brooklyn Heights. At the age of thirteen, she auditioned for the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts. While she chose drama as her major, she also studied vocal arts with equal dedication.

Early Career

Shortly after starting her education at LaGuardia, Monica landed her first role in the student short film "Burning Love". She then went on to play the character of Berta in a stage production of August Strindberg's "The Father" alongside Al Pacino. Monica's first leading role came in the film "Snow White: A Tale of Terror", where she portrayed the character of Snow White opposite Sigourney Weaver's evil queen.

Throughout her career, Monica has appeared in numerous film and television projects.
