Football Career
Moussa Sow is a Franco-Senegalese footballer who currently plays as a striker for Bursaspor and the Senegal national team. He started his professional career at Rennes in 2004 before being loaned to Sedan in 2007. Following his return to Rennes, Sow moved to Lille in 2010. In 2012, he signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Turkish club Fenerbahçe for a transfer fee of €13 million.
International Career
Sow initially played for the French youth team before representing Senegal's national team from 2009. He has since made numerous appearances for the Senegalese side, including in the qualifying rounds for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
Achievements
Throughout his career, Sow has achieved notable success. He was a member of Lille's team that won the Ligue 1 championship and the Coupe de France in the 2010/11 season. With Fenerbahçe, he won the Turkish Super Lig title (2013/14), the Turkish Cup (2011/12 and 2012/13), and the Turkish Super Cup (2014). He also claimed the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2005 with France.
Individual Recognition
In addition to team achievements, Sow has received individual accolades. He was the leading goalscorer in the 2010/11 Ligue 1 season with 25 goals and was named Senegal's Footballer of the Year in 2011.
