Biography of Mubariz Mansimov
Early Life and EducationMubariz Mansimov was born in Masalli, Azerbaijan, into a working-class family. He received his education at the Jamshid Nakhchivanski Military School. During his time at the military school, Mansimov also attended the Rostov State Economic University, where he studied law. Mansimov's skills as a sailor, acquired during his military training, proved invaluable in his future career.
Professional Career
From 1988 to 1994, Mansimov worked for the Caspian Shipping Company. During this time, he also had the opportunity to explore various countries, including Lebanon. Mansimov considers these experiences as crucial in the training of new managers for his company, Palmali.
In 1994, Mansimov became one of the owners of the company Agent-34. In 1997, he founded Palmali Group of Companies and became its president and sole owner. Palmali has since become one of the most renowned logistics companies in the region. The company currently owns 170 vessels, with an additional 60 ships being rented when necessary. One of the main tasks of Mansimov's fleet is the transportation of oil, with over 100 million tons being transported annually. Mansimov primarily works with Russian, Azerbaijani, Turkmen, and Kazakh oil products. The longest route operated by Palmali spans 9,800 kilometers.
In addition to his successful logistics business, Mansimov is also involved in other ventures. He owns the television channel Palhaber and the radio station PAL FM. Mansimov is also the owner of the highly successful national football club, Khazar Lankaran.
