Murat Boz
Early Life and Education
Born and raised in the coastal town of Karadeniz Ereğli in Turkey, Murat Boz completed his primary and secondary education there. In 1995, he relocated to Istanbul to pursue higher education at a fine arts high school. To supplement his income during this time, he worked as a backing vocalist in a music hall.
Musical Debut and Career
Murat's first public performance took place in 1998 at a concert organized by the Turkish music magazine "Milliyet" for graduating fine arts students. In 1999, he graduated with a degree in jazz vocals. He continued his studies at Istanbul's conservatory in 2003.
Breakthrough and Album Releases
In 2006, Murat released his debut single, "Aşk Bulamam Ben," which garnered significant success. Fueled by this momentum, he released a second single, "Maximum," followed by a full-length album of the same name. After the release of his first single, he signed with the Turkish record label Stardium.
In 2008, Murat made the switch to the DSM label and released the single "Uçurum." The song's success paved the way for the album "Şans," which included two additional singles.
Personal Life
Since 2016, Murat has been in a relationship with actress Aslı Enver, with whom he co-starred in the film "My Brother."
