Murad Nazarov: Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Public Servant

Early Life and Education

Murad Nazarov was born on November 16, 1980, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. After graduating from high school, he earned a bachelor's degree from the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies in 2001. From 2000 to 2001, he studied at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. In 2005, he obtained a master's degree from the Tashkent State University of Economics.

Business Career

In 2002, Nazarov served as the program assistant for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Uzbekistan. Upon the completion of his assignment in 2003, he co-founded the company "ISA-NABI" LLC and served as its general director until 2013.

In 2010, Nazarov established the company "AVALON GROUP" LLC and became its chairman. In 2014, he founded the MURAD BUILDINGS brand and is the founder and consulting general director of several companies operating under that brand.

In 2015, Nazarov founded the French company "INVEST" LLC and has since served as its director. In 2017, he founded MURAD BUILDINGS JV, a large multidisciplinary enterprise, and is the director of this company as well.

Political Career

In 2019, at the invitation of the Mayor of Tashkent, Jahongir Artikhojaev, Nazarov ran for parliament in Tashkent. He won the election with 70% of the votes and has been a deputy of the Tashkent City Council since that time.

During that same year, Nazarov signed a contract with the Turkish company Öz güven Mimarlık to construct the tallest building in Uzbekistan and established a company called NEST ONE, naming the building NEST ONE.

In 2020, NRJ LLC was established as a joint venture between Nazarov and Kazakhstani investors. He currently serves as the chairman of the board of directors of NRJ.

In 2022, Nazarov was appointed as a member of the supervisory board of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and vice president of the Equestrian Polo Federation of Uzbekistan.

Personal Life

Murad Nazarov is married and has 14 children. In 2002, he married Umida Nazarova and had three daughters and two sons with her. In December 2021, Nazarov adopted nine children (two boys and seven girls) from the "Mercy House" in Tashkent. He is currently a dedicated father to 14 children.
