Musical Style

Nagual's music is captivating due to its immediacy, spontaneity, and modern interpretation of timeless global cultures. Their unique ability to delve into their own selves, the world of others, and the healing power of music is what sets them apart. With over 30 instruments, both classical and authentic (such as cymbals, banbory, vargan, didgeridoo, djembe, drums, violin, "yelkin nose," ocarina, ubar, kuyaki, spoons, guitars, and glayk), the group creates incredible music that combines pagan and trance-expressive motifs from all corners of the world. Their music is a conglomerate grown from the earth's juices and bioethics.

Philosophy

Nagual believes that what truly sparks interest and excitement is what cannot be fully understood rationally. In the postmodern era of excessive information, the group has engaged in unfamiliar territory, exploring proto-communication as a means to perceive things differently. Their music is rooted in the body, music, primary states of the human psychophysical world, contemporary times, and the melodic range of natural phonetics. It is a process of internal and external movement, awareness, and purposeful execution.

Nagual's approach to multiculturalism is not about imitating other cultures or cosmopolitanism, but rather an attempt for urban individuals to connect with the world beyond the boundaries of streets, subways, and apartments. They believe that art should be organic with the creator, and education and bio-stimulation are ways to immerse in culture through introducing people to new sensations.

The music of Nagual enriches the individual's sensitivity to the world and opens up new schemas of understanding. It awakens and liberates the self. According to experts in psycho-dynamics, the group's music, with its ambiguous structure, replaces psychic energy in moments of its dissolution.
