The Creation of "Hobby"

In 1983, Anatoly Bondarenko formed the group "Hobby" in Konstantinovka, Donetsk Oblast. The band gained popularity in the region and recorded an album titled "Crystal Love." In 1991, "Hobby" disbanded due to the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The Formation of "Nancy"

In 1992, Anatoly Bondarenko assembled a new lineup for "Hobby," including keyboardist and vocalist Andrei Kostenko. The band embarked on a studio recording and changed their name to "Nancy."

The Debut Album: "Smoke of Cigarettes with Menthol"

In 1992, "Nancy" released their debut album, "Smoke of Cigarettes with Menthol." The titular song became a massive hit, gaining popularity on multiple music charts.
