Early Life and Education

Sunil Kumar, known by his stage name Narain, was born on October 7, 1979, in Kolkata. He pursued his education at St. Thomas' College and Sree Kerala Varma College in Thrissur, where he later enrolled in the Department of Direction and Screenplay Writing at the Government Institute of Cinematography and Television.

Acting Career

Narain began his career as an assistant director before making his acting debut in the early 2000s under his birth name, Sunil Kumar. He adopted the stage name "Narain" in 2006 and has since starred in numerous Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films.

Notable Film Roles

Kaattu Poozhi(2011): Narain portrayed the lead role in this historical drama based on the life of Indian independence activist Mohammed Abdur Rahiman.
