Nataliia Belotserkovets was born in the village of Kuyanovka, Sumy Oblast, Ukraine, to a family of rural teachers. She is married to the renowned culturologist Mykola Riabchuk and has two children, a daughter who is a doctoral student and a son who is a university student.

Belotserkovets received her education in the Ukrainian language and literature department of the philological faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Belotserkovets is a poet and author of several poetry collections. She currently works for the magazine "Ukrainian Culture."
