Born into an Azerbaijani family, Namig Alasgarov began his football journey with local clubs before joining Qarabağ FK in 2006. Despite being a part of the club, Alasgarov did not make any official league appearances for Qarabağ.
Club Career
In 2009, Alasgarov moved to Turan Tovuz, a team in the Azerbaijani Premier League. He spent the following season with Ravan Baku before signing with AZAL PFC in 2013. Alasgarov remained with AZAL until the end of his professional playing career.
International Career
Alasgarov represented Azerbaijan at the youth level, playing for the U21 national team. However, he did not earn a senior international cap during his career.
