Nicholas Howard Barker - English Drummer
Nicholas Howard Barker is an English drummer who is known for his work with various metal bands. He gained recognition after several years of collaboration with the British band Cradle of Filth, before joining the Norwegian symphonic black metal group Dimmu Borgir.
Professional Career
After his departure from Dimmu Borgir, Barker continued to play with bands such as Brujeria and Old Man's Child. On January 15, 2008, it was announced that Barker had officially become the new drummer for the death metal band Atrocity and Leaves' Eyes.
However, on May 26, 2008, it was revealed that Barker had ceased drumming for the German/Norwegian gothic metal band Leaves' Eyes. Atrocity and Leaves' Eyes were forced to announce that Barker could no longer continue playing with the bands due to a major personal setback in his life. The bands wished Barker all the best in his future endeavors and hoped for his speedy recovery.
