Early Life and Education
Nick Bakay was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Kenyon College in 1981.
Television and Comedy Career
Bakay began his comedy career as a writer for the sketch show "In Living Color" and hosted a game show called "The Dirty Dozens." He also appeared in supporting roles in several comedy series, including "Seinfeld" and "That '70s Show."
Sabrina the Teenage Witch
Bakay gained prominence as the voice of Salem the cat and Norbert the beaver in the animated series "Sabrina the Teenage Witch." He also served as a storyboard artist for the show.
King of Queens
Bakay was a producer, writer, and occasional star on the CBS sitcom "King of Queens," starring alongside Kevin James.
Animated Ventures
In 2006, Bakay created and voiced the animated series "The Adventures of Baxter and McGuire" for Comedy Central. He also voiced Salem again in the live-action "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" series.
