Born on October 4, 1980, in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Nick Mohammed is a British actor, comedian, and writer. With parents from Cyprus and Trinidad, he represents a diverse heritage. As a child, Mohammed was captivated by the allure of performing. At the age of 4, he received his first magic set, igniting his passion for stagecraft. He honed his tricks and joined the Young Magicians Club, attending conventions and refining his skills by the age of 16.

Academically, Mohammed excelled in school, receiving an offer from Cambridge University. However, he declined, opting instead for Durham University to pursue geophysics. During his time there, he played violin in the college orchestra and made several unsuccessful attempts to join the Durham Revue, a student theater company.
