Early Life and Career Beginnings
Kirill Gotovets is a Russian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for Avangard Omsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Born in Omsk, Russia, he was trained in the Avangard youth system and played for the Omskie Yastreby in the MHL.
KHL Debut and Success with Avangard
Gotovets made his KHL debut for Avangard Omsk on November 25, 2008, against Amur Khabarovsk. He established himself as a valuable member of the team, contributing with both offensive and defensive play. In the 2011/12 season, he helped Avangard capture silver medals in the KHL championship.

International Career

Move to CSKA and Return to Avangard
In 2015, Gotovets requested a trade away from Avangard and was subsequently traded to CSKA Moscow for a monetary compensation. He later returned to Avangard in the 2019/20 season, where he played 22 games before his contract was mutually terminated in December 2019.
