Nikolay Udyansky: Ukrainian Tech Tycoon and Blockchain Innovator
Early Life and EducationNikolay Udyansky was born on May 22, 1983, in Kharkiv, Ukraine. After graduating from Kharkiv School No. 53, he pursued vocational training at Kharkiv Vocational School No. 9. Following his military service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces' special radiation, chemical, and biological reconnaissance unit, Udyansky returned to education. He earned a degree in Roadways and Airfields from Kharkiv Automobile and Road University (KNADU) in 2009. In 2019, he completed a graduate program in law and cybersecurity at Kharkiv University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. His dissertation, defended in June 2019, focused on administrative and legal aspects of law enforcement cooperation in combating corruption.
Early Business Ventures
Before delving into the world of technology, Udyansky held commercial director positions at Olivin Trading House from 2003 to 2006. From 2006 to 2014, he ventured into the production and distribution of payment terminals.
Co-Founding Prof-It and Coinsbit
In 2013, Udyansky co-founded Prof-IT, a technology company specializing in developing cryptocurrency exchanges and other blockchain-based products. The company's headquarters are located in the United Arab Emirates, with offices in Miami, Hong Kong, and Phuket. Prof-IT is renowned for its success in building crypto exchanges and ranked third in the 2021 rating of Ukrainian IT companies by RBC-Ukraine.
In 2018, Prof-It launched the Coinsbit cryptocurrency exchange under Udyansky's leadership. Coinsbit received the "Best Exchange" award at the Blockchain Live festival the same year. Udyansky sold his stake in the business in December 2019.
PRMR and Blockchain Education
Following the sale of his Coinsbit stake, Udyansky established PRMR, a marketing and public relations company. In 2019, Hackernoon listed him as the top blockchain entrepreneur in the Commonwealth of Independent States. Udyansky and Coinsbit hosted the CHAIN 2020 educational blockchain conference in Hong Kong in January 2020.
Bitcoin Ultimatum
In February 2020, Prof-It introduced Bitcoin Ultimatum, a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain. Udyansky presented the project at the 11th World Family Investment Summit in Monaco in July 2020.
Media and Influence
Udyansky co-founded the media холдинг Parlament Media Group in 2020, alongside media manager Dmitry Kolom and IT entrepreneur Bogdan Prilepa. He was recognized as one of the top 20 Ukrainian bloggers by Trend Hero, a platform for analyzing and working with bloggers.
Personal Life and Wealth
Udyansky is married and has three children, two daughters, and a son. After selling his shares in Coinsbit, he invested heavily in the real estate market. As of 2021, Udyansky had an estimated net worth of $180 million, placing him among the top 100 wealthiest individuals in Ukraine, according to Forbes.
