Career in Sports
BoxingNina Abrosova's athletic journey began in St. Petersburg in 1999, where she excelled in boxing. She rose through the ranks of the Russian Championships before transitioning to professional boxing, where she claimed the world championship title in 2006.
Other Combat Sports
Her versatility extended to other combat sports. In 2004, she triumphed in the Russian Kickboxing Cup. From 2004 to 2007, she dominated the Russian Savate Championships, winning in both the light "asso" and full-contact "combat" divisions. She became the European Champion in 2006 and twice reached the finals of the World Championships, earning her the distinction of being the most decorated athlete in French boxing in Russia.
Water Racing
In 2011, Abrosova took on a new challenge in water motor racing. As the captain of the all-female team Nina Motorsport, she steered her boat to a silver medal in the 2011 World Championship (24 Hours of St. Petersburg) and a victory in the 2012 European Cup (Minsk).
Work and Social Involvement
Technology and SportsAbrosova serves as the Deputy Chair of the Coordinating Council of the Expert Scientific and Technical Union and heads the International Center for Sports Technology, a division of the Union. In these roles, she oversees sports and technical initiatives for Rostec State Corporation and the Russian Engineering Union in St. Petersburg.
Advocacy
Abrosova holds the position of Public Ombudsman for Children's Rights in the Gatchinsky Municipal District of the Leningrad Region. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Center for Healthy Youth, a charity promoting healthy lifestyles, and a member of the United Russia political party.

ParentsAbrosova's father, Alexei Nikolaevich Abrosov, is a renowned athlete and artist. He achieved Master of Sports status in boxing and was a Candidate for Master of Sports in skiing. He is also known as one of the leading caricaturists in St. Petersburg.
Her mother, Marina Nikolaevna Abrosova, was a teacher of Russian language and literature. She also excelled in sports, dancing in the "A" class as a partner with her husband. Sadly, she passed away in 1996 at the age of 34.
