However, it helped Odeya and her co-star Brenton Thwaites solidify their positions in Hollywood. Later in 2014, she appeared in the short film 'Little Girl Blue', and a year later, she added two more films to her list of works - 'Coming Through the Rye' and 'Goosebumps', in which she played one of the main roles. In 2016 and 2017, Odeya appeared in several films, including 'Almost Friends' (2016), 'Thank You' (2016, short film), 'The Bachelors' (2017), 'When the Devil Comes' (2017), 'Lady Bird' (2017). Personal Life and Recognition

Odeya Rush

Odeya has six siblings - two sets of younger twins and two older brothers living in Israel. Little is known about her personal life as she does not publicly discuss whether she has a boyfriend, and paparazzi rarely capture her in any situations that could become sensational news. In an interview during the promotion of 'Goosebumps', Odeya revealed that one of the most challenging experiences in her childhood was overcoming her accent. When her family moved to the United States, she was only nine years old and only knew Hebrew. She quickly learned English but struggled with her accent after moving to New Jersey. With hard work and the help of a professional dialect coach, she mastered the American dialect, and her Israeli accent is now undetectable. Jack Black, a famous comedy actor who appeared in 'Goosebumps' with Odeya, praised working with her, noting that she was a young but already professional actress. Despite being nervous on set like many young artists, Odeya compensated with sincerity, which made her performances impeccable. Odeya's only professional award so far is the Teen Choice Award for Breakout Star of the Year in the Olay Fresh Effects category, which she received in 2014. More notable awards are surely ahead for the 20-year-old actress, as she has already been cast in 16 projects, with her list of works growing with each passing year.
