Biography of Oleg Petrovich

Oleg Petrovich is a Ukrainian singer, born on June 17, 1975, in Novoselytsia, Chernivtsi Oblast.

Early Years

At the age of 7, Oleg was enrolled in the local music school, where he studied piano alongside his regular education. Recognized for his talent, he was placed in a group of children who were intensively prepared for admission to a music college.

Music Education

In 1990, Oleg became a first-year student at the Chernivtsi College. In his first year, he won a prize in a competition of Sergei Prokofiev's works, which sparked his love for the composer. In the summer of 1997, Oleg participated in a competition for young performers in Yalta, where he secured the first place.

Personal Life

In 1998, Oleg got married to Angela Purseladze, who became his beloved wife and muse. This year marked an important milestone in his personal life.

Professional Achievements

In 1999, Oleg became a diploma holder of the festival named after Volodymyr Ivasyuk. He then started collaborating with "KM Studio" as an arranger and composer. Through fruitful cooperation with poetess and producer Irina Kovalska from "KM Studio," it was decided that Oleg should try his hand at performing soulful songs for adults. He began working under the pseudonym Oleg Shulyavsky.

Project Presentation and Recognition

On September 16, 2003, the presentation of the "Oleg Shulyavsky" project took place at the "Queen Bee" entertainment center and was a great success. Later that year, Oleg received the "People's Hit" award and a diploma from the legendary Alexander Novikov at the "Songs Sung with the Heart" festival.

Solo Career

In the spring of 2004, a conflict arose between producer Irina Kovalska and Oleg Petrovich, leading him to embark on an independent creative path. In the summer of 2004, his song "Zastolnaya" was included in the compilation album "Blatnaya Igrushka-4."

Album "Chotki" and Musical Contributions

In 2005, Oleg Petrovich released the album "Chotki," where he was responsible for the arrangement of the songs. The album was produced by Anatoly Ivanyuk and Roman Begey.
