Oleg Borisovich Trepovsky
Birth and EducationOleg Borisovich Trepovsky was born on October 28, 1965, in Volgograd, RSFS, Soviet Union. He graduated from the Kyiv National Karpenko-Karyi Theater, Film and Television University in 1992, where he studied acting under Mikhail Reznikovich.
Theatrical Career
Trepovsky's first major theatrical role was as Louis XIV in "The Young Years of King Louis." He joined the Lesia Ukrainka National Academic Theater of Russian Drama after graduating.
Film and Television Career
Trepovsky made his film debut in Alexander Muratov's "Valdschnepy" (1995). He went on to appear in numerous television series, including "Birthday of a Bourgeoisie," "Right to Defense," "Urban Romance," "Mukhtar's Return 3," "Svaty 3," "Jamaica," "Brotherly Ties," and "Letter of Hope." He also had a recurring role in "Svaty 6" and guest appearances in miniseries such as "Vices and Their Admirers," "Brotherly Ties," "Welcome to the Canary Islands," and "First Time Pardoned."
Accolades
In 2011, Trepovsky was awarded the title of People's Artist of Ukraine in recognition of his acting achievements.
Later Career and Passing
Trepovsky played his final theatrical role in "Cynical Comedy" in 2012 and his last film role in Pavel Ostrikov's short film "Golden Love" (2016). He passed away on April 25, 2018, at the age of 52. The cause of his death remains unknown.
