Biography of Olga Bogdanova

Olga Bogdanova is a leading actress and People's Artist of Russia at the Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army (CATRA). She was born on August 7, 1951, in the Moldavian village of Skulyany. After graduating from school in Kishinev with a gold medal, she came to Moscow to study at the School-Studio of the Moscow Art Theater (MXAT) under the guidance of the esteemed actors Pavel Massalsky and Alla Tarasova. In 1972, she received a red diploma from one of the best theater schools in the country.

Early Career

After graduating, Olga Bogdanova served in the theater "Sovremennik" for a year. In 1972, she joined the Soviet (Russian) Army Theater, where she received a small role in Boris Morozov's diploma performance "Night Without Stars." Her collaboration with director Alexander Burdonsky became long-lasting and fruitful, resulting in seven joint productions.
