Biography of Olga Pudova

Olga Pudova is a soprano soloist at the Mariinsky Theatre. She was born in Leningrad and graduated from the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory in 2006, where she studied under the guidance of G. Khanedanyan. Pudova received her diploma from the V International Rimsky-Korsakov Competition in 2002 and was awarded the Laureate of the VII International Rimsky-Korsakov Competition in 2006. She also won the Laureate of the I Pavel Lisitsian International Competition in 2003.

In addition, Pudova is a recipient of the special prize for "Best Performance of French Romance" at the Elena Obraztsova International Competition in Moscow in 2006. She was also awarded the Laureate of the X Competizione dell'Opera International Competition in Dresden in 2010.

Pudova made her debut on the stage of the Mariinsky Theatre in 2006, performing the role of Countess de Folleville in Gioachino Rossini's opera "Le voyage à Reims." She has since appeared in various roles including Amina in "La sonnambula" (concert performance), Rosina in "Il barbiere di Siviglia," Oscar in "Un ballo in maschera," Queen of the Night in "Die Zauberflöte," and Zerbinetta in "Ariadne auf Naxos." She is also known for her performances in the opera "Cinderella" by Jules Massenet, which was staged at the Royal Theatre in Glasgow and at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland during the 2005-2006 season.

Pudova has participated in the International Summer Academy in Mikkeli, Finland, and has attended master classes by renowned vocalists such as V.V. Atlantov, E.V. Obraztsova, and G.G. Khanedanyan. She has performed in concerts organized by the Academy of Young Opera Singers in England, France, and Finland.

In 2011, Pudova was a participant in the Operalia competition.
