Biography of Oliver Platt

Oliver Platt was born in Washington, D.C. in a family of a career diplomat. He spent his childhood in Washington, as well as in various countries in Asia and the Middle East. In 1983, he obtained a bachelor's degree from Tufts University. Since 1990, Oliver Platt has been diligently working in the film industry, and he is more notable for his roles in comedies. One of his most successful roles is undoubtedly that of Porthos in the latest version of "The Three Musketeers". He admits to loving the TV series "The Green Hornet" with Bruce Lee and has a fondness for Sean Connery (as James Bond) and Christopher Walken (in any role he plays).
