Early Life and Club Career
Olivier Dacourt, a French footballer, was born on September 8, 1974. He played as a midfielder and made his debut for Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1 on March 20, 1993. Dacourt's first goal for Strasbourg came on May 24, 1997, against Paris Saint-Germain.
In 1998, Dacourt joined Everton and made his Premier League debut on August 15, 1998, against Aston Villa. His first goal in the Premier League came on February 17, 1999, in a 5-0 win over Middlesbrough.
International Career
Dacourt represented France at the 1996 Summer Olympics and made his senior debut on May 30, 2001, against South Korea in the 2001 FIFA Confederations Cup. He earned 21 caps for France, scoring one goal, and represented his country at the 2003 Confederations Cup and 2004 European Championship.
Club Success
Dacourt achieved significant success with Internazionale, winning two Serie A titles (2006/07 and 2007/08) and two Supercoppa Italiana titles (2006 and 2008).
International Triumphs
At the international level, Dacourt was part of the victorious France team that won two FIFA Confederations Cups in 2001 and 2003.
