Early Career as a Film Producer

Oscar Zogby embarked on his career in the film industry as a producer of modest, low-budget productions. While his early releases garnered niche appreciation, his name remained largely unknown to the public.

Breakthrough with "Halloween 4"

In 1988, Zogby's career took a pivotal turn when he served as executive producer on "Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers." The horror sequel, directed by Dwight Little and starring Donald Pleasence, achieved both commercial and critical success, solidifying itself as a cult classic. Zogby played a key role in the film's technical and commercial aspects, overseeing casting and ensuring a smooth production process.

Continued Success with "Halloween 5"

Building on the momentum of "Halloween 4," Zogby returned as producer for the 1989 sequel "Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers." Once again, he demonstrated his exceptional skills, guiding the project to another successful outcome. Pleasence reprised his iconic role as Michael Myers, further enhancing the franchise's popularity.

Controversial Announcement: "Message" Remake

In October 2008, Zogby caused a stir in the film world with his announcement that he planned to remake the controversial "The Message." Notorious for a 1977 incident involving the hostage-taking of 149 people at a Washington, D.C. movie theater, the film depicted the life of the Prophet Muhammad. Zogby stated his intention to produce a more authentic and accessible version of the movie, incorporating advanced special effects and filming in Saudi Arabia, where Muhammad lived and preached.
