Minami Ozaki is a renowned manga artist, widely known as the "Queen of Doujinshi" and one of the classics in the yaoi genre. She gained recognition among fans for her massive yaoi doujinshi, "Desire to Possess" [Dokusen Yoku], based on the popular sports shonen manga by Yoichi Takahashi, "Captain Tsubasa" [Captain Tsubasa].

Her professional debut as a manga artist began with "Trial of Loyalty" [Chuusei no Akashi] in 1988. In 1989, she started publishing "Yearning Love-1989" [Zetsuai-1989], followed by its continuation, "Bronze - Yearning Love since 1989" [Bronze - Zetsuai since 1989] in 1992.
