Biography of Pablo Andujar
Pablo Andujar is a Spanish professional tennis player. He stands at a height of 180 cm and weighs 76 kg. He began his career in 2006 and is a right-handed player. His coach is Jose Luis Aparisi.
Early Career
Andujar started playing tennis at the age of six. In 2004, he won the men's doubles junior tournament at the French Open. The following year, he won two ATP Futures tournaments.
ATP Challenger Series Success
In 2006, Andujar achieved victories at two ATP Challenger Series tournaments. In February 2007, he made his debut in the main draw of an ATP tournament in Baie. In May 2008, he made his Grand Slam debut at the French Open, where he defeated Filippo Volandri in the first round but lost to Fernando Gonzalez in the second round.
In August, Andujar won two more Challenger tournaments, which helped him break into the top 100 rankings for the first time.
Surprising Final and Quarterfinal Appearances
In September 2010, Andujar surprised many experts by reaching the final of the ATP tournament in Bucharest. Along the way, he defeated players like Maximo Gonzalez, Florian Mayer, Pablo Cuevas, and Marcel Granollers. In the final, he lost to Juan Ignacio Chela.
