Pablo Montero, whose real name is Oscar Daniel Hernandez, is a popular Mexican singer and actor. He is well-known for his signature charro hats and black suits. In Mexico, Montero is considered one of the main idols for young people and a favorite subject of local paparazzi. He has also gained a certain level of fame in the rest of Latin America, as well as among Spanish-speaking citizens in Australia, Europe, and the United States.

Early Career
Montero began his professional singing career as a teenager when he became a soloist in the group "Trébol". The group had a successful hit called "Si tu Supieras", which was later covered by Alejandro Fernández for the soap opera "Maria Isabel". After this, Montero started his solo career and performed in local bars and clubs until he finally got his big break. In 1999, his album "Donde Estas, Corazon?" reached the top spot in the Mexican charts. This album marked a new popular image for Montero, known as "ranchero".

Acting Career
Soon after his successful album, Montero made his acting debut in the film "Vivo Por Elena". He went on to appear in several movies and TV series, including "Nunca te Olvidaré", "Abrazame muy Fuerte", "Rebecca", and "Entre El Amor y El Odio". In 2001, Montero was invited to perform at the South Lawn of the White House for the celebration of the Mexican national holiday, Cinco de Mayo. He serenaded the First Lady, Laura Bush.

During most of 2003, Montero toured extensively and prepared for the release of a new album dedicated to Mexican singer Javier Solis. The album was released in 2003 and achieved decent sales nationwide. However, that same year, Montero was involved in a major scandal. It was revealed that he had not been paying his workers when he was not using their services directly. He lost the lawsuit and was forced to pay all the outstanding bills.
