Biography of Parvathy Omanakuttan
Parvathy Omanakuttan is an Indian model and actress who was crowned Miss India 2008 (Miss India World) and later placed second in the Miss World 2008 pageant, also earning the title of Miss World Asia & Oceania. She was born on December 20, 1987, in Kottayam, a city in the state of Kerala, located on the Malabar Coast in southwest India. Parvathy currently resides in Mumbai.

Early Life and Education
Parvathy is the eldest child in her family. When she was just seven months old, her parents moved to Mumbai as her father got a job at one of India's most famous hotels, the legendary Taj Hotel. She studied at SCDB High School and later pursued English literature at the prestigious Mithibai College in Mumbai. Parvathy stands at a height of 174 cm.

Pageant Success
Parvathy's first major victory as a beauty queen came in the Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2008 pageant. She became the first winner of this pageant in the history of South India. This win allowed her to directly enter the top ten finalists in the national pageant, Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2008. Additionally, Parvathy won several other titles in regional pageants. She received her winner's crown from Jayalalithaa Jayaram, a former Indian film star and extravagant politician, as she was the first beauty queen from South India.
Miss World 2008
Prior to competing in Miss India and Miss World pageants, Parvathy had already won several smaller pageants, including Miss Malayali 2005, Malayali Manka 2005, Navy Queen (Southern Naval Command, Cochin) 2006, Miss SVKM (Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal, Mumbai) 2006, Lions Club Dreamgirl 2007, and Navy Queen (Vizag) 2007. Along with winning the title of Miss India, Parvathy also won awards for Miss Photogenic, Miss Personality, and Miss Beautiful Hair. She then represented her country at the 58th Miss World pageant.
Acting Career
Parvathy made her debut in Bollywood with the film "United Six" in February 2011. The film revolves around six girls who decide to rob a bank. She then signed a contract for a Malayalam film called "Madan Kolli," where she was supposed to play a dual role as a police officer and a vampire, but the project was shelved. In 2010, she appeared in "Uma Maheshwaram." However, her most significant film to date is the gangster thriller "Billa II." It was reported that in 2012, Parvathy agreed to act in a new Malayalam film, but no information about the director or title has been released yet.
