Biography of Patokh Shodiev
Patokh Shodiev, the largest Kazakh oligarch, was born in 1953 in Uzbekistan. Currently residing in London, England, he holds Belgian citizenship. Shodiev is known for his involvement in various industries, including mining and banking.
Formation of ENRC
Together with his business partners Alexander Mashkevich and Alijan Ibragimov, Shodiev founded the Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC). Headquartered in London, the company's main activity is the extraction of natural resources. Initially, ENRC focused on developments in Kazakhstan, but has since acquired numerous mines in Eastern Europe and Africa.

In 2006, ENRC reported a total profit of $800 million.
