Swedish Sharpshooter and Pentathlete
Gustaf "Gusten" Lewenhaupt was a Swedish shooter and pentathlete who earned two medals at the 1912 Stockholm Games.
Olympic Success
As part of the Swedish team, Lewenhaupt secured a silver medal in the military pistol competition at a distance of 50 meters. He also claimed a bronze medal in the inaugural modern pentathlon event at the Olympic Games.
Aristocratic Roots
Born into a noble family, Lewenhaupt married Baroness Ebba Fleetwood in 1913. She was the eldest daughter of district judge Baron Carl Fleetwood and his first wife, Countess Hedvig (née Lewenhaupt).
Family Lineage
Baroness Ebba Fleetwood's father, Carl Fleetwood, served as a district judge. Her mother, Countess Hedvig Lewenhaupt, belonged to the prominent Lewenhaupt family of Swedish nobility.
