Biography of Paul Bush
Paul Bush is an American television producer, host, and creator of numerous television and radio programs. He is also the creative director of Astracanada Productions Inc., a media company based in Miami, Florida. With a career spanning over two decades, Paul is known for his work as a stand-up comedian, television and radio host in the United States and Latin America.
Television Career
One of Paul's most well-known television programs to date is the show "A Oscuras Pero Encendidos," which aired from 1995 to 2001. Initially aired on local channels, the show gained national attention when it was picked up by Galavisión, a cable channel, in 1998. It was later distributed by Telemundo Network in June 2000, reaching audiences in both the United States and Puerto Rico. Over the course of six years, "A Oscuras Pero Encendidos" accumulated over 1100 hours of entertainment content for Latin viewers.
In addition to "A Oscuras Pero Encendidos," Paul launched the humor talk show "Sobre Ruedas" in 2000 for WQBA 1140AM radio station in Miami. In September 2001, he introduced the morning show "Arriba Con Paul" on Radio Unica Network, capturing up to 80% of the Spanish-speaking audience in the United States.
Paul's television career continued to flourish as he became the host of the Spanish version of the popular British comedy talk show "So Graham Norton" in 2004. He also hosted the "Advertising Age Hispanic Creative Advertising Awards" in 2006 and returned to television in 2007 with the daily comedy talk show "La Boca Loca De Paul," which garnered high ratings.
In 2009, Telefutura Network sought Paul's expertise, and he produced and hosted the TV show "La Tijera," which focused on the lives of celebrities. By 2011, "La Boca Loca De Paul" began airing nationally in the United States and Puerto Rico through Mega TV, as well as in the Dominican Republic, attracting a large audience within the 18-49 and 25-54 age groups.

Before founding Astracanada Productions in 1995, Paul worked in production units of various national television companies, including NBC, ABC, and MTV. His television career began in 1992 as a stand-up comedian in New York, performing in various shows and appearing as a guest star in popular sitcoms and entertainment programs such as "La Pension de Doña Tere," "En Casa de Juanma Roman," and "Videoteces."
Astracanada Productions has since produced and developed over 6000 hours of entertainment content in Spanish and English for networks such as Telemundo, Galavisión, América TV, Family Channel, USA Broadcasting, America TeVe, Caracol Television, Mega TV, Zeal Television (London), and Casa Club TV.
