Early Life and Education

Perrie Louise Edwards was born in South Shields, England, on July 10, 1993. Her parents, Alexander Edwards and Debbie Duffy, were both singers, but divorced shortly after her birth. Perrie inherited her musical talent from both sides of her family.

As a child, Perrie attended several schools, including Radipole Primary School in Weymouth, St. Peter's and Paul's Primary School, and Mortimer Community College in South Shields. She later earned a degree in performing arts from Newcastle College. It's unclear if this formal training directly influenced her music career, but it certainly didn't hinder it. In February 2020, Perrie Edwards became the first female ambassador for Supreme Nutrition, a company that produces protein supplements, energy snacks, and wellness formulas.
