Biography of Petr Elfimov
Early Years, Childhood, and Family of Petr ElfimovPetr Petrovich Elfimov was born on February 15, 1980, in the city of Mogilev. His parents were musicians, so from the age of six, the future artist began studying at a music school, where he systematically learned wind instruments. In 1994, our protagonist decided to continue his education at the Mogilev Gymnasium College of Music and Choreography. At this educational institution, the singer studied in the specialty of "choir conductor." At the same time, the young man performed in the creative studio "Dubl V," with which he often toured cities in Belarus, participating in various contests, festivals, and amateur concerts. Petr Elfimov's bright voice allowed him to take on leading roles in his musical group. Our protagonist became the lead singer of the studio "Dubl V," and just two years later, in 1996, he won the music festival "Zornaya Rostan." The first successes in the music field further convinced the artist of his long-held desire to become a pop singer. In 1998, Petr Elfimov was admitted to the Vocal and Choral Faculty of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, where he later received a diploma in higher education specializing in "academic singing."

Petr Elfimov's Stardom: It All Started with KVN
For the first time, our protagonist gained wide popularity by participating in the KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive) comedy show. In 1999, as part of the student league, Petr Elfimov began performing as a member of the team "PTU-124." This project did not have much success with the audience, but it did help Elfimov catch the attention of the guys from the team "BSU," which at that time was winning awards one after another in the Premier League of KVN. Firstly, Petr was invited to several joint performances, and then he was offered to become a permanent member of the team. In the KVN games, our protagonist performed most of the vocal numbers of his team. Eventually, his significant contribution helped the Belarusian team become champions of the Premier League twice and gain the love and recognition of audiences throughout the CIS. In the early 2000s, the "BSU" team decided to leave KVN, but Elfimov remained on the big stage. After the dissolution of the previous team, he began performing as part of another team, "RUUDN," with which he once again became the champion of the league. In addition, as part of the international collective from the Friendship University, our protagonist won the "Golosyashchiy KiVIN," Summer Cup of KVN, and several other prestigious awards. On the KVN stage, Elfimov rarely told jokes but still performed most of the musical parts. In 2003, our protagonist graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music and began looking for new opportunities to continue his singing career. In one fine moment, the legendary musical group "Pesniary" became such an opportunity. Elfimov's bright vocal abilities allowed him to easily join the cult ensemble, but he worked in the group for less than a year. The reason for leaving the group was a new challenge. In 2004, Petr Elfimov became one of the participants in the prestigious international competition "Slavianski Bazaar," where he successfully represented Belarus and ultimately won the Grand Prix of the festival. After this victory, Petr Elfimov immediately received a new tempting offer. As a backing vocalist, he went to the "Eurovision 2004" contest, where he helped the ethno-duo "Aleksandra and Konstantin." The representatives of Belarus did not make it to the final of the competition that time, but this performance experience cannot be called meaningless. Upon returning to his homeland, the artist began working on recording his first solo album. As a result, so much material was accumulated that in 2006 and 2007, two albums of the singer were released one after another. Subsequently, the artist recorded two more albums (in 2009 and 2012). However, it was the various song contests that brought the greatest success to the performer. In 2009, Elfimov, already as a solo artist, represented Belarus at the "Eurovision" contest in Moscow. Within the competition, the artist once again did not qualify for the final, which became the starting point for a series of scandals that erupted in his homeland. Elfimov argued with journalists, isolated himself from the public, and eventually disappeared from television screens for some time.

However, eventually, our protagonist managed to pull himself together. In 2010, he won five gold medals at the World Championship of Performing Arts vocalists' competition in Los Angeles. This success once again gained the artist the favor of the audience. Therefore, Petr Elfimov appeared on the Russian vocal show "Golos" (The Voice), already feeling the support of the viewers. Currently, our protagonist is one of the brightest representatives of Leonid Agutin's team on the show. He is steadily moving towards victory. However, it is difficult to predict how Elfimov's creative path will unfold on this project.
Personal Life of Petr Elfimov
The famous artist has had two marriages in his life. He married his first wife, actress Natalia Dementyeva, at the age of twenty, but this union turned out to be short-lived. The lovers separated, and soon after, our protagonist began a new romance. This time, his chosen one was his own manager, Tatiana Kosmacheva. It is worth noting that the woman is 27 years older than her chosen one (!). However, this fact did not prevent the couple from not only legalizing their relationship but also having a daughter.
