Biography of Petronella Barker
Petronella Barker is a Norwegian actress who was born in the English city of Colchester. However, she spent her childhood in Fredrikstad, Norway. She attended the Theatre Academy in Oslo from 1985 to 1988, and even while she was still a student, she made her film debut in the Soviet-Norwegian collaboration "Trees Grow on Stones" (1985). Following this, she continued her career as a film actress, appearing in several Norwegian films.
Theatre Career
In 1990, Barker made her debut on the theatrical stage in Shakespeare's play "The Winter's Tale" at one of the theaters in Oslo. Since then, she has regularly appeared on the stages of the National Theatre in Oslo and the Norwegian National Theatre.
Recent Film Roles
Some of Barker's recent film roles include "Hawaii, Oslo" (2004) and "The Bothersome Man" (2006).
