She began her training in various dance classes at the age of four, including classical ballet, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary dance. At the age of twelve, she attended courses at the Australian Youth Theatre Wharf, which included works by Shakespeare, stagecraft, clowning, and musical theatre.

During her time at the prestigious girls' school, Queenwood, known for its theatre program, Phoebe also attended a drama studio and participated in school productions such as "Antigone," "The White Crane," and "The Venetian Twins."
