In 2002, Webó became a joint top scorer in the Copa Sudamericana, scoring four goals alongside Rodrigo Astudillo and Gonzalo Galindo. He left Nacional in 2003 after making 21 appearances and scoring 15 goals.

In January 2003, Webó moved to Spanish club Leganés before joining Osasuna later that year. He made his La Liga debut against Atlético Madrid in 2003 and scored his first goal against Mallorca.
