Rachel Anne Griffiths is an Australian talented film and television actress, winner of a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards, as well as a television Emmy award. She is best known for her film roles and work on TV. Among her most notable roles are the character Brenda in the television series "Six Feet Under" and Sarah Walker in the popular series "Brothers & Sisters," which is still airing on television.

Rachel Anne Griffiths was born on December 18, 1968, in Newcastle, New South Wales. She grew up in Melbourne under the strict supervision of her mother and two older brothers. After completing her education at Victoria College and earning a bachelor's degree in drama and dance, Rachel began her acting career as a member of the Woolly Jumpers theater community.
