Early Career and World Cup DebutRaul Ränkel, an Estonian cross-country skier, made his first mark in the sport by excelling in both sprint and distance races. On January 25, 2009, he made his World Cup debut, participating in 23 personal races throughout his career. Despite not securing a top-30 finish or earning World Cup points, his best result was a 34th place in a 15 km mass start event using the classic technique.
