Ralph Ineson, a British actor, was born on December 15, 1969, in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. He gained recognition in England for his role in the series "The Office," but recently he has been making headlines as a new face in the Harry Potter film. In the Harry Potter series, Ralph Ineson portrayed the character of Death Eater Alecto Carrow. Carrow was one of the Death Eaters who attacked Hogwarts and was present during the death of Dumbledore on the Astronomy Tower. The following year, Alecto became the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, but instead of teaching defense, he focused on using Dark Arts themselves. He introduced punishments involving Unforgivable Curses for disobedient students, something that would have been equivalent to a sentence in Azkaban, and freely used the Cruciatus Curse as a form of discipline.
