Rami Said Malek is an American actor with Egyptian roots. He was born in Los Angeles, California in the late 1970s. His mother is of Greek descent and worked as an accountant, while his father, originally from Egypt, was a tour guide in Cairo before moving to the United States. Rami has a twin brother named Sami, and they have always been close despite occasional disagreements.
