Biography of Ramiz Fataliyev
Early Life and EducationRamiz Farzaliev was born on June 7, 1946, in Baku, Azerbaijan. After graduating from School No. 189, he pursued a degree in petrochemistry at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Chemistry Institute. Subsequently, he traveled to Moscow to attend the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors.
Screenwriting Career
Fataliyev is renowned for penning the screenplays for over 30 feature films. His notable works include:

Directorial Ventures
Fataliyev expanded his creative endeavors into directing, helming two television series:

Political Engagement
Prior to the dissolution of the USSR, Fataliyev served as Vice-President of the Association of Political and Detective Fiction, led by the renowned Soviet writer Yulian Semyonov. From the late 1980s to 1995, he was the Director of the Azerbaijanfilm film studio. In 1990, he was elected as a member of the Milli Majlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan).
Post-Soviet Activities
Fataliyev spent his later years in Moscow, where he wrote screenplays for films and television series, including "Russian Pyaterka," commissioned by the Russian State Sports Committee.
Current Projects
Currently, Fataliyev resides in Baku, where he is involved in an ongoing historical project.
