The World's Oldest Father
Ramjit Raghav, a 96-year-old man from India, has been recognized as the world's oldest father. Despite his advanced age, Ramjit is now tasked with raising his second newborn child. His 52-year-old wife, Shakuntala Devi, gave birth to their second son on October 5th, 2012, making Ramjit the oldest father in the world, according to The Times of India.

A Late Start
In an interview with the newspaper, Ramjit revealed that he had been a bachelor who practiced abstinence throughout his life until he met Shakuntala 10 years ago. He said, "Being together, we decided to expand our family and aimed to have two sons. With God's grace, our wish was granted."

Embracing Parenthood
Ramjit openly shares that he is still full of virility. He believes that regular sexual activity is essential for both husband and wife and claims to be capable of fulfilling his marital duties three to four times in a single night. However, for the sake of his child, he is willing to temporarily set aside his sexual desires.

A Record-Breaking Father
Ramjit, a humble farmer and former wrestler, broke the world record in November 2010 when his first son, Bikramjeet, was born. At that time, Ramjit was 94 years old. Initially, in an interview with The Sun, he stated that he had no intention of having a second child. But fate had different plans. Following the birth of his second son, Ramjit broke his own record.
A Happy Man
Reflecting on his life, Ramjit expressed his joy in having two healthy sons. He acknowledged that the journey ahead would be challenging but declared himself a happy man.
The Future
Despite his age, Ramjit believes he is capable of having more children. However, due to financial reasons, he has decided not to expand his family any further. Ramjit has now asked Shakuntala to undergo sterilization, stating, "I don't want any more children. We can't afford it. I want my boys to go to school and receive an education. I am doing everything in my power to provide them with what they need in life."
According to reports, the couple's newborn child is healthy and thriving.
