Reshad Babaev, an Azerbaijani chess grandmaster, was born in Baku on September 3, 1981. His passion for chess began at an early age, as he started training at the Baku Chess School "Trade Union" at the mere age of 7. Inspired by his father, he quickly developed exceptional skills in the game.

As a seasoned chess player, Babaev boasts an impressive record. He has consistently participated in European Championships and achieved notable results. His accolades include:
