Biography of Raven

Scott Levy, better known by his ring name Raven, is an American professional wrestler. He began his wrestling career in 1988, training at the "Monster Factory" under Larry Sharpe, a well-known wrestling school. After months of intense training, Levy joined the Don Owen's Pacific NorthWest Wrestling (PNW), which was part of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). He competed under the name Scotty "The Body" and quickly gained success in PNW, winning the title.

In 1989, Levy teamed up with Top Gun to challenge the "Southern Rockers" for the NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship. Surprisingly, they emerged victorious and became the champions. However, disagreements between Levy and Top Gun led to their split, and the titles became vacant. Levy then defeated Top Gun in a match to win both titles and chose Grappler as his new partner. They held the titles for three weeks before losing them to the Southern Rockers.

Following the loss, tensions arose between Levy and Grappler, leading to their feud. Levy then focused on singles competition and eventually won the NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship by defeating Karl Styles in a tournament final. He held the title for a brief period before losing it to Rex King. Levy regained the title a week later but lost it to Curtis Thompson. He went on to win the Television Championship on March 17, 1990, but the title was vacated due to controversy in a match against Curtis Thompson.

In June 1990, Levy defeated Grappler to win the NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship for the third time. He later joined Global Wrestling Federation (GWF) under the name Scotty Anton and became a member of the faction known as The Cartel. In GWF, Levy had limited success, and after a brief stint, he joined WCW in 1991 as Scotty Flamingo. He portrayed a rich, spoiled character and became the manager of Diamond Dallas Page, being a part of the Diamond Exchange stable.

During his time in WCW, Flamingo had notable victories and even won the WCW World Television Championship. However, his career in WCW took a downturn, and he became a "jobber" before eventually leaving for WWF (now WWE). In WWF, Levy initially teamed up with Brian Christopher, known as Too Much, and they briefly won the Tag Team Championship. Levy then adopted the persona of Johnny Polo and worked as a manager and commentator.

Levy's career took a significant turn when he joined Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 1995 and debuted as Raven. Raven quickly gained popularity for his hardcore style and formed a stable called "The Flock," which included Stevie Richards, Beulah McGillicutty, and others. He became the ECW World Heavyweight Champion and engaged in feuds with wrestlers like Tommy Dreamer and Sandman.

After his time in ECW, Levy signed with WCW again in 1997 and continued to portray the character of Raven. He had notable feuds with Scott Hall, Diamond Dallas Page, and Chris Benoit. Raven won the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship and had various matches and storylines throughout his tenure in WCW.

Levy's wrestling career continued in various promotions after WCW's closure, including TNA Wrestling (now Impact Wrestling) and independent promotions. He remains a respected figure in the wrestling industry and has left a lasting legacy through his unique character and in-ring abilities.
