Early Career in KartingHoracio Rizatti's racing journey began in 1998 with karting. After three promising seasons, he progressed to the Class B South American Formula 3 championship held in Brazil.
Exceptional Debut in South American Formula 3
In 2001, Rizatti made his Formula 3 debut, participating in only three races. Remarkably, he became the only Argentine driver out of 12 to secure points that year, showcasing his exceptional talent.
Success in Spanish Formula 3
In 2003, Rizatti embarked on a European venture, competing in the Spanish Formula 3 championship. He consistently improved over the years, securing an impressive third place in 2005. In 2006, he triumphed as the overall champion with TEC Auto.
Near-Miss in GP2 and Debut in World Series by Renault
In 2007, Rizatti was initially poised to make his GP2 debut with BCN Competición. However, he ultimately joined GD Racing in the World Series by Renault instead. Following an injury to Pastor Maldonado, he made his long-awaited GP2 debut with Trident Racing, competing in three races.
