Myhre's path intersected with that of Tim Burton, initiating a fruitful partnership that would span numerous iconic films. He became an integral part of Burton's creative team, collaborating on "Nightmare Before Christmas," "Frankenweenie," and "Sleepy Hollow." For the latter, Myhre garnered an Academy Award for Best Art Direction (now known as Best Production Design).
