Early Life
Rita Ora, whose full name is Rita Sahatçiu Ora, was born in 1990 in Pristina, SFR Yugoslavia (now Kosovo) to a family of Kosovar Albanians. However, she only lived in Yugoslavia briefly before her family moved to the United Kingdom. Rita grew up in West London, where she attended school and later enrolled in the Sylvia Young Theatre School. She showed a passion for singing from a young age and even had a small role in a film in 2004 during her teenage years.
Music Career
In 2009, Rita Ora participated in the selection process for 'Eurovision: Your Country Needs You', a competition held by BBC One.
