Roald Edgar As was a Norwegian speed skater and the Olympic champion of 1960. Born on September 28, 1938, in Norway, As began his speed skating career at a young age and quickly rose to prominence in the sport.

Achievements

At the Winter Olympic Games in Oslo in 1952, Roald As won a bronze medal in the 1500 meters event, showcasing his talent on the international stage. He continued to excel in the sport and became the champion of Norway in speed skating in 1956.
