Robert Reed Carradine, an American actor, was born in 1954 in Hollywood into a family closely connected to the film industry. His father, John Carradine, was an actor, and his mother, Sonia Sorel, was an actress. Robert also had two brothers, David and Keith Carradine, who were also actors. Additionally, his stepbrothers are Bruce Carradine and Michael Bowen.

Early Career
Robert made his film debut in 1972 in the Western film "The Cowboys" directed by Mark Rydell. Afterward, he played minor roles in several films until he received his first leading roles in the mid-1970s. His brother David cast him in the leading role of his film "You and Me" in 1975, and they both appeared in the action film "Cannonball!" directed by Paul Bartel in 1976.
