Professional career and early life
Robert Enke, a professional football player and goalkeeper for the German national team, was born on August 24, 1977 in Jena, Germany. He spent his childhood in Jena and began playing football professionally there. As a young boy, Enke spent almost all his free time playing football, with his main goal being to become a world-renowned football player. At the age of 18, he played his first serious match for the club "Carl Zeiss" against the team "Hannover". From his first training sessions, Enke decided that he would become a goalkeeper.
